In Memoriam: Laura de Santalliana
Venetian artist Laura de Santillana passed away on October 21, 2019, at age 64 after a brief illness. Up to her last day she worked on her creations. During her illness she curated two exhibitions, in Milan and Venice, and had planned every detail of her Spring exhibition at the MusVerre of Sars-Poteries in France. She was the daughter of Ludovico Diaz de Santillana, formerly a director of Venini, and the grandaughter of its founder, Paolo Venini.
