From the article on artificial intelligence in the AACG summer print newsletter, Jonathan Crystal gave an example of an exchange with ChatGBT, when an anonymous user asked the AI program to consider itself an art historian and then 1) place Lino Taglipietra and Tom Patti in art historical context, 2) list the finest cast glass contemporary artists of the last 50 years, and 3) list the rising generation of artists working in cast glass and the galleries who carry those rising artists.
