What We Fund
The mission of the Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass (AACG) is to further the development and appreciation of art made from glass. The AACG awards support grants consistent with this mission. Grants are made to 501(c)3 arts organizations in support of specific educational purposes, with preference for grants in which the focus is education of the public (as opposed to education of artists, curators, etc.). Typically, grants support exhibitions, catalogs, brochures, videos, curatorial stipends, and residencies for visiting artists. AACG provides artists' scholarships through our Visionary Scholarship program. Please refer to that section on this website for details and application materials.
Since 1991 when AACG first awarded grants, the organization has made more than $1 million in grants. Thanks to all of our members for their support and membership, which makes the AACG grant program possible.
