In Memoriam: David Denn
David Denn, past AACG board and advisory council member, and 2016 inductee into the AACG Fellows Circle, passed away on July 17. As chairman of the AACG 50th anniversary committee, David took the idea of persuading 50 musuems around the country to hold ccontemporary glass exhibitions in 2012 in honor of the 50th anniversary of studio glass. He far surpassed his goal, growing the number of museums holding exhibitions to 168 in 33 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, and Germany. David also planned and led the AACG member trip to Israel in 2014. He was a go-getter and dynamic force on our board and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with David's wife, Joanne, and their family.
