In Memoriam: Benjamin Moore
Glass art pioneer Benjamin Moore, considered one of the most influential American glassblowers of the 20th century, passed away in Seattle on June 25 at the age of 69. He was instrumental in connecting the American Studio Glass movement with European masters through his role as longtime creative director of the Pilchuck Glass School. He also mentored a new generation of glassblowers through his Seattle studio, Benjamin Moore, Inc.
