AACG 2025 Europe Trip
Join AACG on a curated European adventure for glass lovers! We are now taking reservations for our 2025 European trip limited to 20 AACG members, with priority given to Visionary members. This incredible trip will include fine dining, exclusive visits to glass artists’ studios, special access to tour private homes, touring city sights, and much more.
A Few Highlights Include:
- August 9: enjoy a special welcome dinner in Prague.
- August 10 - 11: explore Prague and visit two galleries having exhibitions just for our group. Extraordinary artist Vladimira Klumpar is excited to have us visit her studio, and we will visit a collector’s home.
- August 12: fly to Basel and see the city’s sights. We will view another incredible exhibition that a gallery is putting together just for our group.
- August 14: board a Uniworld cruise ship (< 150 people).
- Sail along the beautiful Rhine making several stops on the way to Amsterdam, including meeting an esteemed professor of glass who will give us insight on the latest in glass art in Koblentz and beyond.
- We will also stop in Cologne to meet Wiktor and Magdalena Borowski and see their gorgeous gallery, Continuum. They will share a special exhibition put together just for our group.
The trip formally ends when the ship docks in Amsterdam.
Optional Extension #1
Once in Amsterdam, glass artist Barbara Nanning will host us and is excited to share her new collection. She is also arranging a special gathering for other glass artists to meet us as well. And we will visit a gallery that has incredible design arts.
Optional Extension #2
For those interested in continuing their glass adventure after visiting Amsterdam, you can add another extension to the trip, to visit Berlin. More details on this extension to come.
The trip cost from Prague to Amsterdam is from $9,560, depending on choice of cabin. There is an addition for single travelers. This estimate is based on 20 travelers. The price may change if fewer than 20 people travel. The price includes ll breakfasts, lunches, and dinners; stays in 4-star hotels; applicable taxes and fees in force at time of confirmation; flight from Prague to Basel; extra excursions from the cruise ship; $500 tax deductible donation to AACG.
The cost above does not include: airfare from and to the US; liquor, wine, or beer; airfare taxes and fuel surcharges; baggage handling at airport, cruise terminal, or train station; visa and/or passport fees; entry and/or departure fees; travel protection plan (strongly recommended); PCR/antigen test if required to enter country.
Price for the extensions to Amsterdam and Berlin will be forthcoming.
