Intersect Chicago
Sculpture Objects & Functional Art, formerly known as SOFA Chicago, is a major art fair whose name has been changed to Intersect Chicago. The 2020 show that was scheduled for November 5-8 has been cancelled due to COVID-19.
The show is normally held in Festival Hall of Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois, and AACG members receive complimentary VIP passes. At these expositions, prominent international galleries and dealers present masterworks, bridging the worlds of design, decorative and fine arts, and showcasing the rich visual heritage of the decorative arts alongside new, innovative expressions. The expositions also feature a lecture series and educational special exhibits.
VIP passes provide admission to the show for an entire weekend, including the opening preview, and give AACG members the opportunity to sign up for VIP events.
Registration for VIP passes are handled directly by Intersect Chicago. Registration for VIP passes to each show can be made online. AACG e-mails its members registration instructions before each show.
AACG sponsors several events during the Chicago exhibition, and this year AACG is planning special Virtual programming during the time period Intersect Chicago would have taken place. Members will receive more details closer to the November dates.
