This documents the collection of a Glencoe, Illinois, couple, the home of which is now sold and the collection gifted to The Henry Ford museum in Dearborn, Michigan. The museum's new glass gallery will open on October 7, 2016. The museum's glass gallery in the adjacent Greenfield Village will open on April 15, 2017. The Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to further the development and appreciation of art made from glass.
The Alliance informs collectors, critics and curators by encouraging and supporting museum exhibitions, university glass departments and specialized teaching programs, regional collector groups, visits to private collections, and public seminars.
