Solo exhibition of works by internationally known sculptor Steffen Dam.
Steffen Dam is recognized for his original works in glass, which combine a scientific expression with poetic content. He originally trained as a toolmaker, but left the profession after a few years to work with glass. This was the beginning of more than 30 years of exploration of the artistic possibilities with the material. His curious approach to the world is the driving force behind Steffen Dam’s artistic practice. Over the years, he has developed a personal cabinet of curiosities with works that balance between fact and fiction and which combine glass with mechanical elements, personal experiences and stories about historical figures.
