Solo presentation of an installation of new sculptures and paintings by Romina Gonzales.
Drawing from the historic and cultural significance of materials such as copper, sulfur and glass, Gonzales creates structures as portals to explore energy flow as she addresses questions regarding the complexity of consumption culture, wellness and spirituality. Born in Peru but currently based in New York, the artist is interested in the transfer and transformation of energy; her influences come from spirituality, science and the dissonant narratives that uphold society.
