Each year, AACG selects an organization to be honored for its contributions to the contemporary glass movement. This year, GlassRoots, the Newark, New Jersey, nonprofit that has taught youth and young adults from under-resourced communities the skills of glassmaking and creativity, will receive our 2021 Annual Award. GlassRoots Executive Director Carol Losos will give a presentation on “Forging the Future/Changing the Story: Creating Art and Community in Newark.” Open to the public.
