AACG Member Trip to Pittsburgh Open for Registration
AACG's 2026 annual member trip will be to Pittsburgh, PA, from September 29 to October 4. The trip will start with dinner on Tuesday, September 29, and end after a full day on Saturday, October 3. (Sunday, Oct. 4 is a travel day.) Trip Highlights include:
- Visit to the famous Frank Lloyd Wright house Fallingwater.
- Five (5) collector home visits!
- Visit to the Contemporary Craft Center.
- Visit to the Andy Warhol Museum, where as a bonus, renowned ceramicist Sharif Bey will take us through his special exhibition on view at the museum.
- Docent tour of the Tiffany windows at Calvary United Methodist Church.
- Visit to the art studios of Matt and SaraBeth Eskuche and Theo Keller.
- Tour of the Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC), see work there by and hear from artist Jaime Guerrero, and be the first to see the new PGC exhibition Forged in Flames: 25 Years of Art on Fire, celebrating 25 internationally acclaimed glass artists whose work and support have helped shape Pittsburgh Glass Center over the past 25 years. In attendance will be Toots Zynsky, Richard Royal, Shelly Muzylowsky Allen, Henry Halem, Mel Douglas, Susan Glasgow, Robert Mickelson, Kathleen Mulcahy, and more artists. We are so lucky to be there for this event!
- Visit the International Sculpture Center to see the exhibit Ceramics as Sculpture, and tour the Center.
- Docent tour of the Carnegie Museum of Art's 59th International, a juried contemporary art exhibit held only once every four years. So fortunate to be visiting during this show!
- As with all ACCG trips, lots of dining in outstanding restaurants.
Registration is now open, and once the trip is filled, we will take a wait list. The trip cost is $1,325 per person, with a $300 per person tax-deductible donation to AACG included in the cost. The fee includes 4 lunches and 4 dinners, bus transportation, and admission fees. The cost does not include your transportation to and from Pittsburgh, airport transfers, hotel, or travel insurance. Our hotel is the beautiful Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh where we have a special rate. You must be an AACG member to attend the trip; nonmembers are welcome to join AACG and come on the trip.
