Michael Endo Appoint Pilchuck Artistic Director
Pilchuck Glass School has appointed Michael Endo as its new artistic director. Michael holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BA from Portland State University. His work has been featured at national and international venues. In 2009, Endo began a decade-long tenure at Bullseye Projects, during which he curated numerous exhibitions, developed educational events, expanded Bullseye Glass Company’s residency program, and built partnerships with Oregon arts institutions. In 2019, he moved to Yucca Valley where he has been a freelance curator and co-owner/director of High Desert Observatory. Endo will begin his position remotely in mid-May and arrive on campus in mid-June.
