Mary Childs Appointed Director of Sandwich Museum of Glass
The Sandwich Glass Museum has appointed Mary Childs as its new executive director, succeeding Katharine Campbell. Childs also will continue as chief curator for both the museum's historical and contemporary collections and exhibitions. A long time glass art enthusiast, arts consultant, and independent curator, Childs previously worked for a decade with Kenn Holsten and Jim Schantz in the former Holsten Galleries in Stockbridge, MA; ran the Mary Childs Gallery in Great Barrington, MA; and most recently served as artistic director for the Duncan McClellan Gallery in St. Petersburg, FL.
