2026 Visionary Scholarship Update
The top glass artists from all over the world come to the Pittsburgh Glass Center each summer to teach and share their knowledge and experience with students of all abilities. The Art Alliance of Contemporary Glass (AACG) has chosen Pittsburgh Glass Center for its 2026 Visionary Scholarship funding, to be awarded to meritorious students attending a Summer Intensive Course at PGC in 2026.
AACG visionary scholarships are based on merit. The purpose is to identify, support, and award promising glass artists who currently live and work as a glass artists in the United States, or who are working towards a career in the field of glass. Artist candidates should possess intermediate or advanced knowledge in the glass field. Occasionally AACG has awarded professional artists who work in other media, but who are seeking to incorporate glass into their work. These scholarship awards are not intended for beginners, but instead meant to recognize and reward demonstrated talent and promise in the field of glass.
Pittsburgh Glass Center and the Visionary Scholarship Committee of the AACG will select awardees. PGC will notify recipients of awards by the end of March. Click here for more information.
