Some of the greatest artists of the 20th century created extraordinary glass sculptures in collaboration with the Venetian glass master Egidio Costantini, who sought to elevate the craft of glassblowing to the same level as sculpture. From the 1950s onward, he collaborated with many of the most famous painters of his time, transforming their designs into superlative works of glass art.
