The Turkish glass artist Y.A.Bakiri will showcase kaftans made of handblown glass on handwoven metal.
The exhibition is to commemorate the centuries-long glass trade between Venice and the Ottoman Empire, for in the 18th century Venetian glassmakers traveled to Constantinople to teach the secrets of their craft, and glass trade flourished between the two cities.Organized by Camhane Art Centre, Istanbul, Turkey.
