Ivana Masitova
Czech artist Ivana Masitova is considered one of Professor Stanislav Libenský's best students. Her extraordinary cast sculptures, objects, and architectural works can be found in museums around the world. Born in 1961, she studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague and before that at the Specialized School of Glassmaking in Kamenický Senov. Masitova is represented by Habatat Galleries, in West Palm Beach, Florida.

About Ivana Masitova
Born in 1961 in Lipa, Czechoslovakia, Ivana Masitova studied at the Specialized School of Glassmaking in Kamenický Senov from 1976 to 1980, and at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague from 1980 to 1988 where she was a student of Professor Stanislav Libenský. Her cast sculptures, objects, and architectural works are included in many major modern art collections, including at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London; Corning Museum of Glass in New York; Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York; The National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, Japan; Museum van Sierkunsten in Gent, Belgium; Kunstsammuluhgen der Veste in Coburg, Germany; as well as in numerous museums in the Czech Republic including the National Gallery and the Museum of Decorative Arts, both in Prague. She has had solo exhibitions in galleries around the world.
