In Memoriam: Charlie Meaker (1946 - 2011)
Charlie Meaker started his glass career by taking an introductory course at The Glasshouse in 1974 and then studied at the Royal College Of Art between 1977-79. He taught for many years at Sunderland and for the last 20 years at the Design School in Copenhagen. He would have retired next August. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Sheila, and their family.
